The popular Junior School has a full roll and is a warm and supportive learning environment where around a third of children are boarders.
The Head of Junior School is responsible for all areas of Junior School life and is a key member of the Gordonstoun Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the overall leadership and development of the school. S/he supports boarding life in a residential capacity, has a teaching timetable and is involved in delivering and supporting a wide range of activities in the school, as well as playing an important role in the local community.
Applicants should be sector experts in junior school education, be bursting with ideas about how to inspire and support pupils, and must demonstrate clear leadership credentials. Eligibility for GTCS registration is essential.
