Watch Leaders “Ocean Spirit of Moray” (2021 Sailing Season – fixed term February - October)

Gordonstoun is seeking dynamic and self-motivated Sail Trainers to be part of the professional team aboard our 80-foot Sail Training Ketch Ocean Spirit of Moray for the 2021 season. Candidates should hold RYA Day Skipper/Watch Leader certificate or above, and be able to demonstrate a track record of working in positions of responsibility on board Sail Training vessels over 20 meters. Please note we do not accept CV’s only and an application form must be completed and returned to be considered for the post. The closing date for applications is 21 January 2021. Skipper/ Instructor “Ocean Spirit of Moray (2021 Sailing Season – fixed term February - October)

Gordonstoun is seeking an experienced Sail Trainer to lead the professional team aboard our 80-foot Sail Training Ketch Ocean Spirit of Moray as Skipper/Instructor for the 2021sailing season. Candidates should hold RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certificate with instructor and commercial endorsements and be able to demonstrate a track record as Skipper of Sail Training vessels over 20 meters. Second Mate/Relief 1st Mate “Ocean Spirit of Moray” (2021 Sailing Season – fixed term February - October)

Gordonstoun is seeking an experienced Sail Trainer to be part of the professional team aboard our 80-foot Sail Training Ketch Ocean Spirit of Moray as Second Mate with occasional relief 1st Mate duties for the 2021season. Candidates should hold a commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster Coastal certificate or above, and be able to demonstrate a track record of working in positions of responsibility on board Sail Training vessels over 20 meters. Teacher of English (Full time position starting September 2021)

Situated on the beautiful Moray Coast in the North of Scotland, Gordonstoun is widely recognised as the world leader in character education. We are seeking an experienced and inspiring English teacher to join our talented team. You’ll be an outstanding classroom practitioner and keen to play an active role in boarding school life. Instructor of Brass (Starting April 2021)

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic instructor of brass with expertise as a music educator and the ability to instruct students of a wide age range. The role includes being prepared to take a lead in directing concert bands, jazz bands and brass ensembles. The post holder will work across both the junior and senior schools to encourage a love of music making and performance at all levels. The role is for a minimum of three days a week, although there is the possibility for the postholder to increase this, including by being involved in other areas of School life. The closing date for applications is 1600hrs on Monday 25th January 2021. Interviews will be held in the week beginning Monday 8th February.
