Scholarships & bursaries

Here at Gordonstoun, we encourage diversity for the benefit of all our students.

So, we welcome applications from children of all walks of life, regardless of their financial background. All we ask is they want to engage with our broad curriculum and contribute to our community. Some will come from schools which have not prepared them for the English GCSE and A Level academic curriculum and we make allowances for that.

Around a third of our pupils receive financial support. We fund this extensive scholarship programme with our own resources and through fundraising. This programme is managed through our designated bursary fund ''The Prince Philip Gordonstoun Foundation''.

For students joining Autumn 2022 scholarships will come with a 10% reduction of the fees. Additional bursaries (fee reductions) can be given, based on means testing. From Autumn 2023 scholarships will not automatically come with a fee remission but scholars are prioritised in the allocation of means tested bursaries.
