Internationalism

One of the fundamental objectives of the broader curriculum at Gordonstoun is the promotion and understanding of internationalism.

We believe pupils who think globally have the ability to see the bigger picture and be constructive and compassionate international citizens of a constantly changing world. Our Junior School is lucky to be home to pupils from all over the world, so all students are introduced to a broad mix of different worlds, people and cultures. They live and learn in a global community nestling here in the beautiful Moray countryside.

Internationalism is also a core component of the school’s classroom-based activities in the form of a unique course of classes which comprise the ISC (International and Spiritual Citizenship) curriculum at Gordonstoun.

This curriculum, which they follow throughout both the Junior and Senior Schools, covers spiritual development, health education, environmental issues and life skills in an international context. Internationalism at Gordonstoun opens up a world of possibility for every boy and girl at the school.
