Supporting Gordonstoun
Generous gifts to the scholarship and bursary fund, are helping to transform the lives of young people who would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend the school.
We are committed to providing an exceptional education to all our students. The Gordonstoun Scholarship and Bursary Fund enables students from all walks of life to access the life-changing opportunities we offer. It is thanks to the huge generosity of our Gordonstoun community that over 40% of our student body are supported through the Bursary and Scholarship Fund.

"As well as having the most amazing education with the most enthusiastic teachers, I have had the opportunity to experience things that no average teenager would, and this has allowed me to develop skills which I will be able to take through life with me. [...] I have never seen Gordonstoun as just a school, for me it has always been somewhere I have been able to call home. I want to thank everyone that has made it possible for me to have this Gordonstoun experience. I would not have become the person I am today without your support and I am forever grateful for everything it has provided me with". |

"My two years at Gordonstoun were without exaggeration two of the best years of my life. I had an amazing time training as a volunteer firefighter, discovering a talent for theatre, developing my leadership abilities being a Colour Bearer and Sports Captain and of course geeking out over my physics classes! Several years later, I find myself working abroad as a Research Scientist at a world-renowned institution, an achievement I attribute in large part to the life education I received at Gordonstoun. I am genuinely grateful for the experiences I had and the difference it's made to my life, and no doubt will continue to make". |

"Going to law school and attending university is a chance to forge the life I want. But only 6% of care-experienced students progress onto university, compared to 50% of the general population. [...] The odds are stacked against me, but Gordonstoun has given me a lifeline to defy the odds and create myself a life that's broken the cycle. Boarding school has sparked a love for education and learning, surrounded by peers similar to me, allowing me to push myself in ways I never thought possible. Gordonstoun gave me more than an education, but it gave me a home, a family, and an identity. [...] It has enabled me to realise I don't just have to be the product of generational trauma, but I can be me. So let me introduce myself, my name is Ana and I'm going to read Law at LSE." |
Through the Scholarship and Bursary Fund we support one of Gordonstoun's founding principles, namely that all students, regardless of background, should have the opportunity to have a Gordonstoun education. Currently over 40% of our students receive scholarship and bursary assistance, this is only made possible through the invaluable support of donors.
Thank you for your support!
