Sailing & STV

Pupils at Gordonstoun Junior School are introduced to sailing and water-based activities at our local harbour at Hopeman.

They build their confidence on the water by paddling the school’s kayaks and sailing dinghies out on the Moray Firth.

They develop their seamanship skills to be ready sailing together for a multi-day voyage on the magnificent Ocean Spirit of Moray, Gordonstoun’s very own 80 foot training boat. It is a hugely exciting and challenging experience for all our young sailors.
