Gordonstoun wins Independent Boarding School of the Year

Gordonstoun is delighted to have won Independent Boarding School of the Year at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2021. More than 700 nominations were put forward for the fully independent annual awards which were hosted by Independent School Parent magazine.

Educational leader and consultant Dr Helen Wright chaired the panel of 14 judges who selected the winners. Gordonstoun was chosen as the winning boarding school for the its bespoke reintegration programme for pupils returning to boarding life after the second lockdown. This featured a different ‘three R’s’: a return to campus, a reconnection with nature and a focus on rebuilding resilience.
