Required for Autumn 2020, the Head of Maths will be a sector expert and will promote academic and intellectual development across all disciplines; leading teachers in the implementation of the curriculum and educational practices that result in exceptional student achievement. They will also be responsible for the day to day smooth running of the Maths Department.

The post holder will be a member of the Heads of Department committee and expected to promote best practice in all areas of Maths. The Head of Maths will teach across Years 7 to 13 and must be able to teach up to and including A-Level and possibly Further Maths A-level.

They will also provide support for the delivery of Maths in the Junior School. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers with relevant leadership skills; including those currently in management positions or wishing to seek a promoted post.
